One of my regular listeners has accused me of becoming intellectually lazy with my themes, that perhaps they are too easy,
that I and my listeners have too easy a job coming up with songs, and that next week, we all need a challenge.
    The gauntlet is tossed.
Next Tuesday is Wright Brothers’ Day.
I was contemplating doing songs by North Carolina artists, which would have required research,
but I am accepting the challenge so all songs will deal with aviation.
BACK IN THE USSR is certainly acceptable with the BOAC reference.
Rocketry, however, is not. Santa’s sleigh…..we shall see.
Trust me, I am not disparaging the accusation (I still want Fathers’ Day gifts), but instead am accepting the challenge.
